Great Sweets and Snacks Expo 2024 in Indianapolis - Inspiring Trade Fair with attractive supporting program

From the perspective of the exhibitors at the German Sweets joint stand, this year's edition of the Sweets and Snacks Expo 2024 in Indianapolis was very successful. "The exhibitors at the joint stand noticed a high level of interest from American trade visitors in high-quality products from Germany," summarized Karsten Daum, Managing Director of German Sweets.

The joint stand under the motto "Sweets & Snacks from Germany" was visited by retailers, distributors, and brokers, with a strong focus on U.S. buyers. In addition, the German joint stand also attracted attention from importers from surrounding countries such as Canada, Mexico, Panama, and Guatemala. Prior to the trade fair, German Sweets offered its exhibitors and members a joint store check tour, providing company representatives with valuable insights into markets and product ranges. German Sweets also brought many key players together with their traditional event on the eve of the trade fair, ensuring the right mood for the expo.

Karsten Daum gave high praise to the National Confectionery Association (NCA), the organizers of the trade fair: "The NCA successfully utilized the city of Indianapolis for the Sweets and Snacks Expo, creating a great trade fair experience." Besides the professional program, the attractiveness of the event was significantly enhanced by the Get Together of trade visitors and exhibitors at the basketball court of the Bicentennial Unity Plaza and the opportunity to visit the Indy Motor Speedway after the last day of the fair.

Overall, the NCA recorded 1,000 exhibitors, which included many smaller providers in addition to the major U.S. brands. The 16,000 trade visitors mainly came from the U.S., but attendees from over 80 nations were present in the halls.
