New origin, same character: In mid-2026, we will switch the 80% origin chocolate bar from “Uganda” to “Cameroon.” The new 80% chocolate comes from Cameroon, a country often described as “Africa in miniature” due to its diverse landscape. Our new cocoa grows there under ideal conditions in the fertile basin between Sanaga and Mbam: reddish-brown Trinitario beans, fermented under strict control as part of the Cacao Trace program. “Cameroon” is a strong dark chocolate with distinctive cocoa notes. It is the sixth variety to be added to our range of single-origin chocolates.
