At this year’s SIAL, exhibitors at the German Pavilion welcomed a high-profile guest in the person of Federal Minister Cem Özdemir. At Gut Springenheide, the Minister was impressed by the sustainable concept of nougat in a real eggshell and was delighted to receive a personal gift, a “Peace Egg.”
German exhibitors once again shone with their innovative strength. The company Dr. Karg achieved a nomination for the SIAL Innovation Award with its product “PROTEIN THINS.”
On-site, German Sweets witnessed the “biggest SIAL of all time.” With record-breaking space and numerous occupied halls, the trade fair impressively demonstrated how dynamic and innovative the international food industry is.
The feedback from German exhibitors was very positive: numerous constructive discussions were held, new contacts were established, and important impulses for the future were set.
