The German exhibitors look back with great satisfaction on a successful Food Ingredients Europe 2024. This was the result of the final survey conducted among the 24 participants of the German Pavilion, which was organized by German Sweets, GEFA Exportservice GmbH, and Wirtschaftsförderung und Technologietransfer Schleswig-Holstein GmbH (WTSH), and supported by Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank.
From day one, the world’s leading trade fair for food ingredients, held from November 19 to 21 in Frankfurt, was characterized by bustling aisles and high-quality discussions. Thanks to the favorable location of the German Pavilion in a central position at the entrance to the busiest Hall 3.1, there was a significant influx of visitors right after the trade fair opened.
Across the four halls of Food Ingredients Europe at the Frankfurt exhibition center, 1,500 exhibitors showcased their products. The fair attracted 25,000 visitors from 135 countries, a large proportion of whom were from Europe, particularly Eastern Europe. The German Pavilion, a fixture at FiE since 2011, was among the largest national pavilions at the fair.
The next edition of Food Ingredients Europe will take place from December 2 to 4, 2025, in Paris.
